James Reidy
Director of Entrepreneurship
J.J. has a dynamic background scaling early-stage start-ups in D.C., and organic farming in Vermont. Through his role in business development and market strategy, J.J. helped scale LivingSocial into to a multi-national e-commerce company. He earned a B.A. in History and East Asian Studies from Denison University, and was a four-year varisty athlete on the men's varsity lacrosse team. J.J. is pursuing his Global MBA at Carey, where he is focusing on social entrepreneurship and sustainable food systems. J.J. is currently building his concept, Urban Pastoral Collective, which applies closed-loop permaculture to urban aquaponic production. As Director of Entrepren, J.J. will help facilitate entrepreneurial innovation throughout the Hopkins community.
